Brian Rutledge

Brian and Yoly lead design team. This section of about owner category is a necessary requirement for completion of Duke City Floral profile. With that said its my feeling that potential customers may be intrigued or interested in knowing more about local small business shop owners and staff they would consider doing business with.. Interesting concept when you think about it. Although Yoly and I have recently celebrated our second year anniversary in business together as Duke City Floral . We both have been in the floral industry since 1994. I myself first started in the floral industry opening my own shop JB's Floral Design's in in the South Valley on Isleta Blvd in 1994. I didn't know much then, but I was serious, aggressive and passionate about learning as much as I could and being successful. Being a single father and experiencing life issues and it’s many challenges I closed JB’s Floral Designs. I moved on continuing to expand my skills and knowledge as a designer and furthering my education in business. All while working for the largest floral shops in Albuquerque over the next decade. I continued moving up and expand my background In purchasing fresh floral product and goods. Working in management, team building and leadership rolls expanding my skills in various levels within the floral industry. I am grateful for the opportunities. Yoli and I, Our paths crossed in 2012 when we met at a local floral event. We became close in no time having much common becoming inseparable. We fell in love and have been together ever since. Our journey together thus far can only be described as fairy tail like. A true blessing in many ways. The both of us sharing a common passion in floral design. Our experience and background in the floral industry has proven to be a valuable asset not only to ourselves but those who truly matter, our ever growing customer base, setting Duke City Floral apart from the so called competition and long time local leaders in the floral industry..
